We live in a society that seems to be falling farther away from God with each passing day. That may sound like a depressing way to begin an "about" page, but it is the sad truth. My mission is simple: I want to share my thoughts with others in the hopes that something I write can help people who have drifted away start to move back toward a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. I also hope that any non-Christians who may visit my website will see the message I am spreading and how seriously I take my faith, and that they will take a closer look at what Christianity is because of that. However, I continue to feel led by God to focus my message toward Christians who have drifted away and need to return to a stronger, closer relationship with Christ. I am not a Bible scholar. I have never had any type of class on the Bible. However, I faithfully attend my church 3 times a week and read my Bible almost every day, and I constantly try to live my life in the way God wants me to. God gives all of us one or more gifts, and I have long believed that one of the gifts He blessed me with is an unusual amount of wisdom for someone of a relatively young age. Ever since the latter part of 2008, I have felt a strong calling to share that wisdom with others through my website. I hope my daily devotions and monthly articles are a blessing and encouragement to you and I hope you learn something from them that you can apply to your life. My primary mission is to remind people how God wants us to live, reinforce that message with my own commentary relating the Bible to the present day world, and help people to renew and refresh their relationship with God. |
